Stili, what is your story of how you got to music and songwriting?

I come from intensely musical family. Started to play piano when I was 4 and since then the magic of music stole my heart.

What do you think about the music scene in Prague and who are your favorite local artists?

Prague compared to the rest of the country is pretty multicultural so we got actually some talented and interesting artists here. Unfortunately most of the quality ones aren’t that famous yet :)

I like the unique sound of Piqi Miqi or Pam Rabbit for example.

You have new music in the works. What can we look forward to?

I’m shooting my new music video very soon and it will be pretty stylish and amazing so by next month I’ll blow your mind with a new banger 🥳

Are your songs autobiographical or do they come from your imagination, or both?

All my songs are autobiographical, everything is coming from some personal experience, situations and emotions I had to go through to put it on the paper.

What song have you chosen to play for (A)VOID sessions, and why?

The song I’m performing at Avoid is very intimate piece of mine talking about ending of a relationship/ period of life. The concept and interior of Avoid gave me that intimate feeling of a pureness & beauty that it’s worth performing something deep and personal so that’s why I chose “Never See You Again”.

You’ve been influenced by artists some people may not be that familiar with such as (please fill out). How would you identify your conscious and unconscious influences on your upcoming album/singles?

Definitely we all got many unconscious influences coming from radio or something we heard in the store maybe. Anyhow the artists I like to take inspiration from are so many. I still listen to a lot of jazz, soul & oldschool music but I also like many of new artists especially lately I’m listening a lot of female newschool rap like BIA,Flo Milli, Megan Thee Stalion or neo soul - TeaMarrr, Nao, Mereba, Sudan Archives.

How would you like for your album to be received? Where and when should people listen to it best?

My new single is gonna be “Women’s anthem” kind of song - empowered, but very feminine and classy. Women supporting women. I don’t want it to be received as a feminist movement or anything like that but more as reminder of how strong, successful and independent we are. That’s why you will see many interesting and successful female artists in the video.

Do you listen to much music on Spotify, and if so, what are the top releases we should check out?

Previous artists I mentioned.

And  finally, what are your plans with the release of this album and for life after pandemic?

My plan is to travel a lot and trying to spread my new music worldwide.

Also some new interesting events might come up so stay tuned. For now you can catch me singing with my band called “All Mad Here” on 20.5. at Festival in Letňany Prague.
